Crash on an icy Hwy. 92 . . . .

Bagley firefighters rushed to the scene of a crash on Highway 92 near 390th Street last Thursday afternoon. There they found a pickup truck upside down in the west ditch. They brought the Jaws of Life just in case passengers needed to be extricated. According to the State Patrol, the pickup was southbound on Hwy. 92 when the driver lost control on the icy surface. (There was a light rain at the time.) The pickup rolled and came to rest on its roof. The two occupants were both wearing seatbelts and were not injured. The driver was cited for failing to use due care. Because the driver is a juvenile and was charged, his identity is not being released. The scene above shows the firefighters preparing to upright the pickup after it was evacuated.
