Stanley Frederick Caspary, 90, of Sheffield, Iowa, passed away due to complications from a fall on January 2nd, 2026. He was a cherished father, grandfather, partner, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed. Sherry Lynn (Tripkosh) Lutgen, age 77 of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Baptist Floyd Hospital, surrounded by the love she so freely gave throughout her life. Born to the late Vernon Charles and Arlene Loie (Tweeten) Tripkosh, Sherry lived a life defined by warmth, kindness, and genuine connection.

Anita Mason, 92, formerly of Aredale/Dumont, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Franklin Country View in Hampton. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Harlan Cemetery in rural Dumont, Iowa. Renee Hansen, 71, of Hampton, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Methodist Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton.

 David Leroy “Red” Schriber, age 72, of Britt, MN, and formerly of Iowa, died peacefully in his home on Monday, December 1, 2025. He was born August 28, 1953, in Webster City, IA, the son of George and Katie (Wibben) Schriber. He was united in marriage to Joan Haller on June 8, 1974 in Chapin, IA.

Carlene Wiarda (Nolte), 83, of Ackley, passed away on November 30, 2025, at Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 12:00 – 2:00p.m., December 8, 2025, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. She will be laid to rest at the Dumont Cemetery at a later date.

Betty L. Butt, 96 of Hampton went home to Jesus on Friday, November 28th.  Betty went peacefully under hospice care at home. Funeral services will be at 10:30, December 6, at Hampton Church of Christ in Hampton. She will be laid to rest at the Harlan Cemetery following the service. Donald Louis Warneke Sr., 88, of Ackley, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls.
