Madeline Gude, 93, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Hubbard Care Center. Funeral services are pending with the Surls Funeral Home.

John V. (Jack) Nissly, 92, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away peacefully on November 14, 2020 at Hanson Family Hospital surrounded by his family.

Gordon Weichers, 77, of Steamboat Rock, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at MercyOne in Waterloo. A private family service will be held. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.

Ethan Bert Kazmerzak was born April 12, 1991, to Thomas Kazmerzak and April Hemmes. He graduated from Hampton-Dumont High School, Class of 2009. Ethan then attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City where he was a member of the University of Iowa Marching Band, concert band and writing group, in which he had poems and short stories published.

Keith Duane Kothenbeutel, 84, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. He was born on December 24, 1935, in Hampton, to Oliver and Meta (Bruns) Kothenbeutel.

Kathleen Harrison, 93, of Menisee, California, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, at Gladwell Sun City Menisee Valley Atria, Menisee, California. She will be buried at Friends Cemetery Iowa Falls, Iowa. The Linn’s Funeral Home Iowa Falls Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Darold Dean (Doug) Sidmore passed away on November 3, 2020 due to Covid-19. He was born on February 26, 1925 to William Sherman and Thelma Earlene (Hershey) Sidmore at Rolfe, Iowa. Darold was the 2nd born of six children. The family moved around the state before moving to Bristow, Iowa.

Barbara “Fritz” Ann Greub (Freie), age 81 of River Falls, Wisconsin passed away at the Pine Ridge Gardens Memory Care Home in Hudson, Wisc. on November 5, 2020. She was born on April 19, 1939 in Latimer, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Alma Freie. She graduated as valedictorian from Franklin Consolidated (Latimer-Coulter) High School in 1957. She went on to earn a B.S.

Robert D. Lindaman, 79, of Ackley, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, November 6th, at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. David Passehl, 59, of Anita, Iowa, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020, the result of an automobile accident near Fontanlle, Iowa.
David William Passehl was born April 6, 1961, in Hampton, Iowa, to Wilbert and Doris (Bobst) Passehl. After high school, he received his Associate’s Degree in Electronics from Southwestern Community College and his BS from Bellevue University.

Janice M. Wilkinson, 70, of rural Dows passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at her home with her family at her side.
Per Janice’s wishes, her body has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.
