Dorothy Lee Benge, 96, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.  She was born on March 15, 1924, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Theo “Ted” and Ardia Leona (Sample) Dare.  Dorothy graduated from East High School in Des Moines.

Carol Beth (Kinsel) Wosepka, 89, was welcomed into Heaven on July 2nd 2020 through her faith in Jesus Christ. She was residing at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.
Carol was born December 10, 1930, to Beulah (Shugar) and Ellsworth Kinsel in Ackley, Iowa. She graduated from Hampton High School and married Donald Wosepka on New Year’s Day in 1949.

Phil Gross, 86, formally of Iowa Falls, passed away, July 4, 2020, at Scottish Rite Park in Des Moines. Funeral services are pending with the Surls Funeral of Iowa Falls. A private graveside service will be in Iowa Falls due to Covid virus. The Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is assisting the family. Arlene Sweedler, age 89, of Williams, passed away, July 4, 2020, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls.

Bill Ballard, 73, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.
  Bill was born George William Ballard, Jr. on October 12, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to George William Ballard, Sr. and Ola Lorean Ballard. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday (June 30), at 10:30 a.m., at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Visitation will be held Monday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place at the Maynes Grove Cemetery rural Hampton. Margaret Angeline (Nelson) Zacharias, 93, of Hampton, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

James Anthony Cunningham, 70, of Williams, Iowa passed away June 25, 2020, at Hanson Family Hospital in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Visitation for James Cunningham will be 1:00 pm - 2 pm, Tuesday June 30, 2020, at the Linn’s Funeral Home Chapel, 1521 Washington Ave., Iowa Falls. There will be a private family graveside service at 2:30 pm following visitation at the St. Mark Cemetery in Iowa Falls.

Estelene M. Jennings, 95, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Services are pending with the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Kevin Peter Chapple, 64, formerly of Hampton, died of cancer in Costa Rica on June 5, 2020.  Burial will be 10 a.m. on Friday, June 26th at the Hampton Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Billie Jean LaBass, 70, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Private family services will be held at a later date with burial taking place in the Lynwood Cemetery in Clarksville.

Ronald Richard “Ron” Jobe, 71, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.  He was born August 25, 1948, in Hampton, to James and Margaret (Cournoyer) Jobe.

Kevin Peter Chapple, 64, formerly of Hampton, died of cancer in Costa Rica on June 5, 2020. Kevin was the son of The Reverend John. H. Chapple and the late Josephine. Besides his father, he leaves behind his brother John L. Chapple of Littleton, CO and his sister Karen Davis of Denver, CO. Burial will be at a later date. The Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton is assisting the family.

Venita “Vicki” Stinson, 88, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Thursday, June 4, at her home in Iowa Falls. A private family funeral will be held with burial in the Alden Cemetery. A public visitation, without family present, will be on Friday, June 12, from 5-7 p.m. at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church in Iowa Falls.
