Lloyd M. “Smokie” Sorenson Jr., age 84, of Clearwater, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Annandale Care Center surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Carolyn Ann (Naumann) Riles, 77, of Sheffield, died Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Sheffield Care Center. Lyle Etnier, 84, of Sheffield, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Hampton Church of Christ with burial in the Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Cindy Rolling, 68, of Sheffield, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield with burial in Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

Michael (Mike) James Enzenauer, 61, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away on March 31, 2025, due to complications from a stroke.
Mike was born in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Donald and the late Evelyn Enzenauer. He attended and graduated from Lyle High School in 1982, where he played football and the tuba.

Dorothy Ann Ziesman, 93, of Alden passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Franklin General Hospital, Hampton, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls with burial in the Otis Grove Cemetery in rural Dows. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Burdeen Alvin Sluiter, 87, of Dumont passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Grand JiVante Care Center in Ackley. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m, Tuesday, May 13, at Faith Baptist Church, Hampton. Matilda ‘Tillie’ Nelson, 96, of Hampton, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton. Lawrence “Larry” LaVerne Bonjour, 77, formerly of Dows, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 after a long illness.

Marie Paullus Arctander Rodemeyer, of Des Moines and formerly of Hampton, left us peacefully on May 1, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was 101. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on  Monday, May 5th, at the Hampton Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will be held 1-3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at the Harriman Park Shelter in Hampton.

Charlene Mildred Hanson, age 92, of Maple Manor Village in Aplington, Iowa, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton, as well as one hour prior to the service on Friday, May 2, 2025. John Campbell, 82, of Hampton, passed away April 24, 2025, in Apache Junction, Arizona. Arvin Stadtlander, 73, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2025, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in rural Hampton. Arvin will be laid to rest in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Clear Lake- Hal Berding, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the Surf Ballroom and Museum 460 North Shore Drive, Clear Lake, IA; with Pastor Jack Vanden Heuvel officiating. Visitation will follow the service and will continue until 4:00pm on Monday.
